Kristin Clarke, CAE
Account Executive, AMG and Consultant to the Section on Women’s Health of the APTA
Longtime association leader Kristin Clarke, CAE, is currently consultant to the Section for Women’s Health-American Physical Therapy Association (SOWH).
More than 15 of her 28 years as an editorial, education, and meetings-oriented leader were spent in strategic content development and leadership capacities at the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the Greater Washington Society of Association Executives.
In addition to her award-winning communications work, Kristine co-developed content and learning formats for major conferences and directed the ASAE Social Responsibility Initiative and 1,200-member Convene Green Alliance community of sustainability-minded meeting professionals. Her specialties include volunteer management, strategic communications, knowledge-gap identification, alternative learning formats, and cross-functional content strategy.
Prior to ASAE, Kristin was magazine editor at American Fisheries Society, director of communications at the Izaak Walton League of America, and a news journalist. She also has extensive consulting, free-lance, and presentation experience.
A Certified Association Executive (CAE), Kristin holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with a minor in Public Policymaking from Boston University and a two-year certificate in publishing and design from George Washington University. She remains a columnist for ASAE’s Associations Now magazine.
