Vice President of Finance, Association Management Group (AMG)
Denise Turner has more than 20 years of finance and accounting experience encompassing both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. She is responsible for managing the finance and accounting operations of AMG, which consists of the accurate and timely delivery of financial information each month to over 18 different clients. Denise assures the continual use of AMG and industry best practices, including strong internal controls and financial policies, as required by AMG’s AMC Accreditation criteria. Denise works with numerous client association executives and volunteer leaders to develop and implement budgets, investment policies and board financial policies. In addition, she facilitates Treasurer orientations and the outside audits of each of AMG’s full-service clients.
Denise was formerly Vice President of Finance and Administration at the American Textile Manufacturers Institute, Inc. in Washington, DC, where she was responsible for the financial and operational integrity of the association and its foundation.
