Director of Credentialing for the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT)
Ashley Shelton serves as Director of Credentialing for the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists. (BRPT) She manages all aspects of application and recertification for three healthcare-related credentials, including their flagship credential, the RPSGT, which is accredited by the NCCA. She also serves as advisor to Interel + AMG credentialing programs generally. Ashley spearheaded the transition of BRPT’s credentialing database to Cobalt, which resulted in a major technology upgrade for the organization. Ashley brings to Interel + AMG clients over a decade of experience in credentialing management and leadership. Before joining Interel + AMG, she worked at BestPractices, a Locum Tenens provider for emergency medicine physicians and allied health, and also OrthoVirginia, serving the orthopedic surgeons of the largest group medical practice in the state of Virginia. Mrs. Shelton is also actively involved in the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE) and is pursuing her CPCS certification.
